![]() ![]() My Audio Interface is outputting sound from my DAW and Audacity with no issues. It responded to the incoming audio but again it would not pass to either my DAW or Audacity. I have a second Audio Interface in a Novation X-Station keyboard, I switched to this. I tested it with Audacity to eliminate the DAW, Audacity failed to register the audio too. However I needed to record audio into my DAW via the Audio Interface and it seems that although it is receiving the sound (meters and lights are flashing) the audio is failing to get through to my DAW. This went well with a few little hurdles as you would expect and all seemed to be working well. I had been migration from Mac to Mac for many years and decided on a clean sweep. ![]() I hope someone can assist me with a newly discovered issue I replaced my iMac a few months ago installing a 1GB SSD and a clean install of Mojave and all my applications. Have also tried using IShowU but this does not resolve the issue.Īny help would be greatly appreciate - or even suggested forums to throw this in?Īudio not passing from Audio Interface(s) to DAW Hi, Whilst this is a workaround, using the "Built-In Output" stops me from easily adjusting my headphone volume and causes more problems if I eventually want to look into capturing Pro Tools sessions for streaming in OBS. Other weird thing is, if I replace my audio interface in the "Multi-output device" with my Mac's "Built-In Output", then there is no issue. Playing with sampling rates and drift correction didn't seem to fix this. Whatever output is set as "Master device", it does not suffer from this 'crackle', but the other does. I've created "multi-output device" in Audio MIDI Setup, added both soundflower and the TASCAM audio driver, so this setup outputs sound from both devices at once. I'm also using a TASCAM US-1200 Audio Interface with my headphones and microphone plugged into that. I've downloaded soundflower as I'm aware Mac doesn't have any default drivers to do so. I'm trying to capture my desktop audio for streaming / recording for Twitch. My issue is a crackling noise with my audio when using “multi-output device” in Mac OS X (10.9.5)
